In the future, the past couple of months will likely be marked by historians as the point at which beginning of the end of the current British state can be clearly demarcated.
Firstly, the admittance by the Labor government that there was a systemic cover-up of Pakistani rape gangs.
Now, I don’t want to go into the specifics of what occurred. What I want to focus the reader on are the implications of this. The government, in admitting this, have demonstrated a complete lack of basic understanding of governance. You cannot admit that you have engaged in a decades-long cover-up of the gang raping of 13, 14, 15, 16 year old girls in a systematic and targeted fashion by foreign nationals that you imported and then expect that your legitimacy will not be entirely destroyed. That this was admitted by the Labor Party, a party which is utterly dependent on these very same foreign nationals, is even more insane. To even have the slightest, tiniest, basically impossible chance of coming out of this without the utter loss of legitimacy, you would need a massive inquiry along with severe and punitive prison sentences for large portion of the Pakistani population and innumerable figures in local councils, the civil service, media, and all other branches of government. You would need a Nuremberg trials level of accounting for this. What on Earth were they thinking admitting to this?
You don’t just casually hold up your hand and say, “yeah, sorry, we covered up all this raping and its still going on and probably getting worse, but, yeah, sorry.” What they should have done, what they could only have done, was to burn all records, keep covering it up, and then import as many people as possible so that they could be sure that they remained in power through the foreign vote block indefinitely. Such a course of actions is, of course, itself insane, but they are insane.
As if this wasn’t enough to justify the complete overthrow of the entire British governing system, we now have the fact that the UK is broke. This is something which has gone under most peoples radars and there is obviously a Wil.-E-Coyote-standing-in-midair-before-realising-he-is-about-to-fall-1,000-feet state of affairs among the British “elite” right now. Watching this play out in the press has been fascinating because it reveals how thick and deluded elected officials and media commentators are and how modern governance is defined by factions who think that their role is to not act within the interests of the whole of the country but instead to extract as much as they can from the population and get what they can.
To summarise in simple terms, the government has a quarter of debt in gilts with interest payments linked to inflation. Inflation stays low, these are cheaper than none linked gilts. Inflation goes up they become very, very expensive. If you may recall, inflation went up.
So this happened to UK spending on debt INTEREST. Not the debt itself, just the interest.
As pointed out by the Times reporter Fraser Nelson, to put this into perspective, the UK spends £60 billion on schools, £55bn on the military, and £20bn on the police. And its not going away, its going to get worse for a lot of reasons. The estimate is that national debt will reach 274% of GDP in 2071.
This figure of 274% is, of course, pure and utter fantasy. The only way they got 274% was by averaging pre-financial crisis productivity growth with post 2008 productivity growth which is pure nonsense as is the hope that AI will improve this. Like Ali the illegal immigrant on his Deliveroo bike will boost productivity by talking to Chat GPT. The productivity growth shows no signs of improving. It is around 0.4%. 1.25% is a pipe dream. And lets say AI did improve productivity by allowing companies to downsize things like HR. OK, where are those HR people going? No, there is no reasonable justification for thinking it would improve. This means instead of 274% it should have said 647%.
647% of GDP.
Lets repeat that.
647% of GDP.
And this is assuming that there are no inflation shocks between now and then. Does that sound reasonable to you?
So what are the options here for our “elite”? Basically they need explosive economic growth. Is that going to happen? No. The British population is aging and the 3rd world immigrants they are bringing in are not like for like replacements. The “elite” can wish and stomp their feet and command everyone to imagine they are, but they aren’t. They will bring the level of economic prosperity they came from. Again, this is proven, its not opinion. But that’s all they have now. Stomping and crying and demanding everyone pretend its true like little children. This is not to say that these immigrants couldn’t have been turned into fiscal benefits. That would have required UAE style immigration. Indians and Pakistanis come in as guest workers, they work, they get paid, they pay tax, they leave, they get deported at the first sign of trouble. No right to remain. No citizenship. No gang raping and block votes. But, no. The UK like the rest of the West has been playing all sorts of games with immigration because they are so smart, our elite are geniuses and we just don’t get how smart they are. So now they have net negative fiscal drains who will themselves need more net negative fiscal drains to pay for their pensions.
So, so very smart.
Short of a miracle of economic growth based on solar panels or windmills or Deliveroo, or some over nonsense, the UK needs to cut costs. But all the other parts of the governing system are either themselves broke, like the councils such as Birmingham (our trash covered minority-majority beacon of Islamic diversity) or they will respond to cuts with basically “fuck off” and why shouldn’t they? What is the plan here? To say to them, “please take one for the team and help out your country by taking a pay cut or giving up your job!” What country and why? And who is going to give up their absurdly generous benefits for the good of the country (especially when their existence in that country is subsidized via these benefits.) Its going to be a hard sell to explain to British people that they have to cut their pensions, benefits, services whilst also putting up *patently not* asylum seekers in hotels. You even have the absurd situation that people from Pakistan or Albania can claim asylum. Why? How? We have open relations with these states. Keir Starmer was just in Albania. How can you have the Prime Minister visiting a country where people are also claiming asylum from? Shouldn’t he be boycotting that country for oppressing people so much they need to claim asylum in other countries? And then we have Starmer simply agreeing with Macron to just “swap” illegal immigrants like they are Pokémon cards. These are levels of deranged which are hard to fathom.
Then we have the tax rises which will come because there is one segment of the population that keeps this clown show on the road. The one segment that can be counted on the take it for the multicultural diversity team and be quiet about it, and that is the British population which has been renamed the “White population.” So of course that’s who the British state will zero in on. But exactly how much longer can this part of the population be relied on as the means to subsidise this cartoonishly evil state structure along with their 3rd world immigrant sidekicks. And this is a point which being overlooked, the populations of Eritreans, Afghanis, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and so on are not a net benefit to finances or in any other way for that matter. The numbers have come in and its not debatable. They are a net drain on finances. So the idea of a majority minority country is pure and unadulterated psychotic fantasy. Who would pay for that? The math just does not add up. You can get away with the “luxury” of large populations of this kind in an era of cheap money and economic growth on the back of asset inflation, but the underlying dynamics now point very clearly in one direction. The UK cannot afford them But, again, the state is desperate to keep inflation down and maintain its “legitimacy” so perversely, the state can’t afford to not have mass immigration even if these migrants are an economic loss to the country (again, this is discounting the terrible damage they are causing in all other areas of existence.)
Again, for the state to be able to even begin to start climbing out of this hole, it would need to hyper centralize. It would need to be able to make clear and quick decisions involving cuts to various benefits and be able to do so with the minimum fuss. It would also need to be able to engage in a series of reforms to promote growth. You can’t just say an area will be a growth area and then expect something to happen. You need decades of planning, organisation, funding, training, which would take decades to come to fruition whilst in the meantime it kept a lid on the discontent created by these reforms. It can do none of this, and even if it had the means, it still would not have the capability because the UK state is people by idiots who believe absurd things. We have seen that it can’t do even simple cuts to obviously ridiculous benefits. Labor MPs wont take the hit in their constituencies, and why would they. You can’t call on patriotism in a multicultural clown show economic area. Unite have just broken with Labor over the Birmingham issue. The Pakistani and Bangladeshi populations which are the core of the Labor party will be alienated by benefits cuts (they largely survive on benefits) in addition to the Gaza situation. The British (white ) population basically seems to only come out to back whoever is just not the establishment, because they obviously hate them which is why of course some in the establishment propose expanding the franchise to 16 year olds and non-citizens, because of course they would.
The state will lurch from crisis to crisis as it reacts to events out of its control. The potential for things to just explode is obvious. If there is more inflation, then chaos. If there is more Islamic terrorism, chaos. If the electricity cuts out in the winter, chaos. Its a bone dry tinder box in every conceivable way and I am sure China, Russia and others will be eying this situation with glee. Imagine Russian intelligence pulling of an Islamic terror attack, or messing with LNG supplies at critical times.
It is inevitable that Reform will walk the next election, but the real question should be why would they want to be the ones holding the bag as the UK falls apart? And why do they think that they can reform the government. Getting into office is not some magic place where you can just issue orders and everyone follows. As soon as Farage sits down he will get tied in knots by the British state and will be left pulling absurd stunts to pretend that things are happening, just like Starmer.
The UK state, and western democracy, is plainly unfit for service. It was an adaptive state of affairs in the 20th century as it allowed for centralisation and the creation of wealth, but in the 21st Century outdated and unsuitable as a vehicle of governance. the solution is not simply getting into electoral “power” the solution is overhauling the entire governing structure in conjunction with getting into electoral power. Anyone thinking electing Reform will fix things is living in fantasy land. They are thinking in terms of polaroid cameras and Kodak film in the age of the iPhone. They aren’t going to see this because they can’t. They have points of references for their thinking which are rooted in the old ways. It would be like trying to explain post-Revolutionary France to a pre-Revolutionary noble its a waste of time.
Unfortunately, it will have to play out until the state collapses into chaos and then someone comes after who has no choice but to centralise and begin to fix things.
The UK in its current form is done. Its over.
Thank God it is happening now and not a couple of decades down the road.
Astute observations. Will be interesting to see if the state can survive the decade.
